I gotta show you some footage of my home town.  we had a flash flood.  this happened about 2 km from where I worked.   My work place was flooded also with water streaming down through the roof pipes.  we had to turn off all or electrical equitment.  It took 1 hour to get home.

we are all well but the scarey thing is they suspect that there will be more flooding tomorrow but then it should ease off.

I saw that stuff on the news (news hound I am) and I was worried about you, especially when I heard the name Queensland. I'm glad you and your family are okay. Lots of disasters in the New Year. Hope it doesn't mean anything bad (Doomsday!) What a scary thing, and I understand the same thing is happenning in Brazil. I just hope Australia comes out okay. I sure would like to visit!

yeah these things are certainly tragic buddy but I think we can say from history that humanity usualy comes out of it better and stronger. Prayers and perseverence is what we need. I feel mostly sorry for the lives lost. I feel for Brazil too. I only hope they are given the resources and money they need so that they can rebuild again.

At the moment the water has settled down everywhere but big trucks are restricted to where they can go because of all the road damage.

Toowoomba is out of milk and almost out of fuel lol but I believe that the roads will be completly open again by next week.
Thanx for your concerns buddy this means alot.

I saw this on the news. And wondered if you were anywhere near that place or not. It sure was nasty looking. Hope you're okay.

My mum and dad are in Brisbane helping my uncle clean up his house that also was flooded. I couldn't go with them because I had to take my sister who is in a wheel chair to a friends wedding.

I haven't showed my face here for a long time. I came back last year sometime ago, been trying to stay more active here...guess it's hard to when you're used to being away. I have been doing good though, God has showed me the true meaning of joy. I hate to hear about all the bad news going on down there, but I'm glad to hear that you're alright. Hope things get better soon for your family  I'll have to start coming here morev than I do. I think you're talents have increased, and I like all the cool things you've done using flash. 8-)

Oh no! Really? No milk in the stores? I can tell you that I completely understand that feeling, as a freak ice storm showed up a week ago, and in one day, the stores were completely cleaned out...particularly of milk. :XD:

No probs buddy. Stay safe. :)
