hey guys so the first of my animation is done minus the voice acting. I figured that as soon as the second installment is complete then I will give both this one and the next one dialog.

ok well this was a real challenge for me. I am just an amateur artist who wants to tell a story and I am glad to finally be doing that.
but I struggled a lot with many aspects while doing this. So any tips or constructive advice on what I can do to make it better is extremely welcoming.

Also a big thank you to Stephanie Young who let me use her music. the link at the end of the animation will take you to the original song.

Xullrae is pint size female Drow/ killing machine belongs to my awesome friend :iconxullraezauviir:
Hazalin the over sized marshmallow/shapeshifter belongs to me.
the bandits belong in jail

p.s. I tried to keep violence at a minimum. let me know if I should put a warning on this cheers kiddies.

Quite an episode. I like your animation and film making. Good luck getting voice actors. I've never had any luck with that. I have to use computer voices for my characters.

thanx buddy.  actually I did get voice actors for this.  I made a mistake and submitted the wrong one.  I was suppose to put the finished one there.  My mistake.  Also you may have some luck getting voice actors if you ask around on da or even Newgrounds.  I can give you the profile page of the ones I use but I commission them so they are not free but there are alot of people who would do it for free aswell.

Thanks. It is as I guessed too expensive for me to really afford on a regular basis for my productions. I used synthetic voices and these are not the best. I tried to filter my own voice but I can get the program that I bought to do this to work.

well it is good that you can use your own voice.  I hate the sound of my own voice that is why I turn it into a chipmonk sound if I ever use it lol

You have put a lot of creativity into this, I really like the tool that Xullrae used to see the secret inscription in the rock. One thing that makes an intro stand out is having the right amount of drama and creativity to make it interesting. Attention to detail is critical in the beginning parts for sure.

Honestly I thought that the setting needed more frames in the beginning when the camera is panning down to the character. It's seems a bit jumpy. And the reason I mention that is because when the picture is kind of jumpy it tends to take away from the overall quality, and can give the viewer the wrong type of anticipation.

This all I'll mention for now, since I haven't seen all the scenes yet, then I'll try to give you an overall, review. I really think you've got a knack for animation Christine, I can' see it in the different scenes of this flick. Keep up the good work. :)

Hey there Comethius yes you are right, the animation was very jumpy. I think it could be also due to very big and heavy graphics I was using. I am going to make the backgrounds smaller in future by cropping out parts that I don't need.

I know it is late buddy but Merry Christmas and happy new year. I hope that the new year brings you heaps of artistic inspiration and imagination take care
