I wanted to colour one of the line art pics I did. It started out as just the head, but as I was doing it I wanted to add more , so he ended up with a body.
Hench the wierd body jewlery. I tried adding more texture to the skin but I think I messed it up. It is abit dark too I think. CommentsHe is gorgeous! So much detail and the texture of the skin is really impressive, between pure skin and very little scales
-- "Toutes les âmes n'ont pas une égale aptitude au bonheur comme toutes les terres ne portent pas également des moissons" Chateaubriand (\--/) (^.^) (")_(") his skin has a scaly texture and it looks really cool to me and I like his jewelry....he's neat looking!
-- Thats some fine details on that guy, a nice color scheme, and i like how you did that bg, its very soft but doesnt get too blurry (like mine -.- *steals your brush settings*)
the only thing im able to notice worth criticizing (<- ??? grammar lol) are the outlines on the iris, if they were thiner there may be more depth to the eyes, but that may not be how you intended it to be so ill shut up oh and you uploaded a real big file there, you should watermark it or something -- Oh Gravity, thou art a heartless b*tch. This is nice.
Also, I like the highlights on his face, the gold reflection on his horns, the jewelry detail and his soft, wavy hair. Those piercings on his stomach look very painful though, lol. -- I draw....EVERYTHING!!!!! Very nice work! Excellent coloring and I love the textures of his skin.

The sand dunes worked on the preview but on full view they get a little too soft in their lines, and they aren’t far enough back in the background to have softness look good. Some crisper lines would probably fix them up well enough.
As for the naga i think you did a splendid job on his ear. It sounds a bit banal to say it but good ears are hard to do and you don’t often see them paid that much attention. His nose is also mostly good, but the shading and blending ends too abruptly under it, making it look odd, and not wholly a part of his face. Blending in the skin between his nostrils and the cleft over his mouth will remedy that. I also think his skull over his eyebrows is sticking out a bit too much.
As for your experiment on skin details one must commend experiment, but I think small low opacity spots would work better. The fuzzy curls look like a hair experiment gone awry
This is a tutorial for painting skin which also has a short bit on skin texture details [link]
And as a more personal opinion I think the scales might work better is a more gradual process rather than as abrupt pads of it. It would soften it and make it more organic and less construed in my mind.
His hair is looking too uniform for me, and some more deviant strands and parting “clumps” of it would make it more natural looking.
