Hello kiddies. Finally got around to doing my gift art for a realy good friend of mind. 
This is a thank you gift for this awesome remake she did of one of my comic pages.
lol actually I got a few very good friends here on DA
This is a portrait of favorite character Lana.
her race is called "shaspen" (but yes, she is an elf)
I copied and pasted that line from her latest picture of her lol

Not sure if I did her justice or not. Never been good at doing heaps of jewels. But I hope she is recognizable. Here Lana is looking at her reflection putting on earrings. Even though she loves her bling she is a pretty deadly fighter too with dancing skills to match I bet lol.

The first thing I noticed was her hair, and to me that really sets her off, it has the right amount of texture and toning which can make a big difference in the overall quality of the character.
I also like the perspective here too, cause it draws you into the pic even more.
